Move-aid was formed in 2011 to assist individuals and families to re-locate from France.

Through 8 years of being directly involved in removals between the UK and France and 3 years of working with Estate Agents and Notaires in France experience has shown that there is a high degree of avoidable errors apparent. Errors which have arisen through no fault of clients or their chosen removal firms but through the lack of local guidance and assistance.

Most people, especially if returning to the UK, tend to use UK based removal companies. Due to the distances involved the removal firms cannot necessarily send staff to clients homes in France to carry out a removal survey which is common practice in the UK.

If the removal company does not send a vehicle with adequate space for your items you may be charged an excess and/or be forced to leave personal possessions behind.
